As we gear up for the end of the year (or to some, what could be the end of the world), it’s best to take assessment of where we’re at with ourselves. And more importantly, where we seek change and who can best help us to attain it. Because for the most part, that’s what we’re all feeling now – a need to make change somewhere in our lives. And this feeling is coming from the gut, up. I get more into this, and offer a more specific assessment on my thoughts for the 2012/2013 shift in an interview I did for my friend Drew’s website, Open Doorway Reflections (http://www.opendoorwayreflections.com/?p=50). But for now, I want to remind each of you reading this that you must not ignore whatever call is coming up inside of you at this time. And if you’re not entirely feeling something yet, give it ten days. That’s when the Sun will meet Pluto in Capricorn, and we will all be activated to look at the bigger picture of our lives. Yes, it’s the end of the year and we all start to go through that process around this time of the year. But right now, it means more than ever. So don’t ignore it.
During the next couple of weeks, I will get more in depth on how we can best approach this upcoming year. And also on which specific areas in life each sign needs to be paying attention to. But for now, let’s all recognize that the great energy shift that everyone has been speaking of for 12.21.2012 is upon us. It may bring fear and anxiety to some. It may bring a level of peace to others. Either way, you should try your best to honor it in some way. There are numbers of people around the world who will be sending out positive, love-focused energy into the universe that day. So if you make yourself aware of it, and allow yourself to be receptive, you can benefit and reap the rewards. You may even make a point to shoot some out yourself. Because giving and being receptive to energy, messages, love, and peace is the best way to place yourself in the present moment. And that is where you want to be when you’re preparing to make some larger life changes. And as I said, we’re all preparing to do so.
So take a moment with yourself today to ask yourself how you are doing. Whether it’s in front of a mirror, through a journal, or in a conversation with friends, ask yourself that important question. “How am I doing?” And get real with yourself. This isn’t some co-worker or the woman at the grocery check-out you’re responding to. This is your soul-level being. And if you can’t get down and dirty true with yourself, then you have found the start of your problems right there. But if you can get honest and real with yourself, then let’s get started on this new year of self-discovery together. What in the hell could be more fun? And more rewarding.
